Plasencia Alma Fuerte is a full-bodied Nicaraguan puro known for its bold, complex flavors, exceptional construction, and deep ties to the Plasencia family’s five generations of tobacco expertise.
Alma Fuerte cigars are crafted entirely from premium Nicaraguan-grown tobaccos, including long filler from the Plasencia estates in Jalapa, Condega, Estelí, and Ometepe. These tobaccos undergo a 10-year aging process, paired with a thick Nicaraguan binder, and finished with either a dark Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper (original line) or a 10-year-aged Colorado Claro wrapper (Colorado Claro line) to create nuanced flavor profiles.
The Alma Fuerte features rich and bold notes including dark chocolate, coffee, espresso, black pepper, leather, and molasses, often complemented by cinnamon, dried fruit, and cedar as the cigar progresses. After tastes reveal clove, pepper, and milk chocolate warmth.
